Stray Train is a new heavy blues rock band from Slovenia, having their second album released on 24th of November from SAOL records. The album is called “Blues From Hell – The Legend of the Courageous Five” and it’s going to conquer the blues rock world!

You know, a lot of people say that rock ‘n’ roll is dead, but this album proves exactly the opposite. 12 heavy blues rock songs give you a punch in the face so as to wake you up, to rise your adrenaline and make you start dancing under the blues tunes. Please, don’t tell me that the “Days Gone” couldn’t make you feel the pulse and start moving around. What an excellent groove, what an excellent bass line, what an amazing blues sound.

This band definitely has the ‘60s and ‘70s feeling inside their music. It feels like this album is already 40 years old, like these songs have already been heard at some movies, on the radio or on the rock bars. Stray Train’s music has something real, something honest and that’s why you can dance with their songs and have some fun, forgetting your problems and everything that’s in your mind and tries to break you.

One of the highlight of the album is the amazing “Blues from Hell” song. A Black Sabbath influenced song – yeah, that riff will haunt you – which will stuck in your head. Also, as a true blues rock band, Stray Train have their own blues love song. What a better way to have a romantic dance with your lady, when you listen to the “Love Is Just a Breath Away”. The album closes with a heavy blues country song called “Miracle” and I believe that it’s the best way to end a beautiful music journey like the “Blues From Hell – The Legend of the Courageous Five”.

In my opinion, people who say that rock ‘n’ roll is dead, have to listen to this album. Stray Train is the proof that this music is still alive and will continue to be. If you want to dance, if you want to feel dirty, sexy and evil, then this album is the best soundtrack for you.
