Dust Bolt is a thrash metal band formed in Germany back in 2006. The four young musicians managed to get our attention as they have plenty of talent. Working hard all this time with great tours and releases have already an EP and three albums in their bio. Now we present you their third album “Mass Confusion” released on July 8, 2016 by Napalm Records.

What we have here is an old school German thrash metal band but directed to the modern generation. The riffing is sharp, well-crafted and remind of Kreator, without the voice has nothing to do with the Mille Petrozza. The vocals have a screaming character and they provide energy to every song. They use tempo changes in a way that makes the album entertaining. The guitar solos are of excellent quality and I can say that they’re better made than those of Slayer. Combining German with American thrash but keeping their own identity is their most valuable characteristic here. There are melodies in the songs and the tempo changes are not so technical but they sound ear friendly.
Dust Bolt avoid getting into the list of the thousands of groups that deal with thrash metal without getting any recognition. They give a sweetness in aggressiveness that pervades the thrash. I think a listening of this albums is more than enough for you to appreciate the effort of the band and enjoy their music.
